Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join the MicroElectronics Applications Engineering Team in North America. The role serves as the primary technical contact for clients, leading UPW treatment design and delivering executable, competitive solutions.

You will work with a global, cross-functional team across bid lifecycle stages from lead qualification to contract execution and project handover. Remote opportunity with travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in ultra pure water treatment technologies.
• Bid/proposal development experience with strong technical and commercial analysis.
• Track record in customer-facing technical sales or engineering roles.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid strategy development in partnership with Sales, qualifying opportunities and organizing resources to meet submission deadlines.
• Translate customer requirements into Veolia solutions, optimizing competitive positioning and value delivery.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to design flowsheet processes that solve complex water treatment challenges.
• Develop technical documentation, including P&IDs and proposal materials that clearly communicate solution advantages.
• Manage cost estimation by partnering with Sourcing teams to obtain quotes and finalize competitive pricing.
• Drive proposal development by leading meetings, reviews, and cross-functional coordination.
• Establish project timelines and prioritize deliverables while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with internal bid development procedures, tracking, and forecasting protocols.
