Job summary

Target is seeking a Sr. Manager Safety in Minnesota to own and drive the regional safety program. You will lead a team of Safety Managers, ensure compliance, and work with HR, Sedgwick, and the Claims team to address regulatory matters.

You will oversee visits from OSHA/EPA and coordinate with leadership to implement corrective actions, while supporting various regions and hybrid/remote work arrangements as needed.

Qualifications

• Direct or indirect proven Safety leadership.
• Ability to lead a team, direct management and leadership skills.
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent relationship building and collaboration.
• Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the Regional safety program and lead a team of Safety Managers.
• Coordinate with HR, Sedgwick and HQ Claims team on safety issues and remediation.
• Oversee regulatory visits (OSHA/EPA/Fire) and respond with improvements.
• Support regional operations including multiple Target locations and work arrangements.
