Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead key accounting functions within our Crude Marketing Services division. This role oversees Joint Interest Billing, Revenue Accounting, and related financial processes for upstream operations, requiring deep SAP expertise and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in the upstream oil & gas industry.
• Minimum 5 years in supervisory or manager role.
• Significant hands-on experience with Joint Interest Billing (JIB) and Joint Venture Accounting.
• Strong Revenue Accounting background including production revenue, royalties, and tax reporting.
• SAP experience (JVA, PRA, FI/CO).
• Proven track record managing month-, quarter-, and year-end close in a fast-paced E&P environment.
• Experience with complex joint venture agreements, AFE management, and partner settlements.

Responsibilities

• Lead JIB operations for operated and non-operated properties.
• Manage month-end revenue processes including reconciliation and tax calculations.
• Serve as SAP SME and drive system enhancements in JVA, PRA, FI/CO.
• Lead and develop accounting team and foster continuous improvement.
• Prepare upstream financial reports and support audits.
• Ensure SOX controls and GAAP compliance for JIB and revenue activities.
• Drive process improvements and ERP/tech project participation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Land, Marketing, and auditors.
