Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a Switchgear Technician to maintain UPS and switchgear systems across assigned facilities in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will evaluate work orders, perform repairs, and support preventative maintenance, including breaker testing and fuel-tank inspections.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5 years’ electrical/electronic service experience with UPS/PDU/switchgear, a valid State Electrician license, and ability to obtain required clearance.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in electrical/electronic service and maintenance.
• Experience with UPS, PDU and switchgear systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains UPS and switchgear equipment operating at voltages under 600 volts.
• Performs preventative maintenance and service calls on UPS, switchgear and batteries.
• Assists with scheduling and maintenance of all airframe switchgear breakers.
• Interprets wiring diagrams to locate failures.
• May perform fuel tank tours and respond to alarms.
