Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical/Power Technician for the Critical Power Group to inspect, maintain, and certify UPS systems, batteries, and related equipment at client sites. This role requires extensive travel, on-call availability, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will perform preventative maintenance, coordinate with subcontractors, document Field Service Reports, and provide technical support while upholding company procedures and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years OEM experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, test equipment and related electrical apparatuses.
• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and certify UPS systems, battery systems, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, emergency service calls, and on-site troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, document Field Service Reports and time/expense reports.
• Provide technical assistance and training to site personnel and engineers.
• Maintain safety, quality standards, and company procedures; on-call 24/7 when required.
