Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled electrical/electronics technician to service UPS systems, batteries, and related critical power equipment. The role involves extensive on-site work, coordination with subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to high safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of OEM experience and a BS in Electrical/Electronics, with strong diagnostic, documentation, and communication skills. This position requires frequent travel and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university, or equivalent field or military training.
• Minimum of 7+ years OEM experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Experience with UPS systems and related electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of UPS systems, batteries, and related equipment.
• Provide technical support and on-site engineering guidance; coordinate with subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain safety, quality standards, and documentation (reports, time sheets, expense reports).
• Travel frequently (daily) and be available on-call 24/7 when not on PTO.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and system design specifications.
