Job summary

IPSure is seeking a senior UNIX Engineer III to design and sustain enterprise UNIX/Linux environments for DoD cyber operations. You will ensure secure, highly available infrastructure across multiple security enclaves and integrate systems with virtualization, storage, and cloud platforms.

A strong focus on automation with Bash, Python, and Ansible is required. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and hands-on experience with RHEL/Oracle Linux, VMware, LDAP,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of enterprise UNIX/Linux engineering experience.
• Experience inDoD/Federal or large enterprise environments is preferred.
• Experience with RHEL/Oracle Linux, LVM, NFS, LDAP, SSH, backup/recovery and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise UNIX/Linux server environments.
• Engineer highly available Linux platforms supporting mission-critical applications.
• Perform OS deployments, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh.
• Integrate UNIX/Linux with virtualization, storage, backup, and cloud environments.
• Support RMF, A&A, vulnerability remediation, POA&M activities, and audit readiness.
• Develop automation using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
