Job summary

Tanager Bank is seeking a Universal Banker II for the Evanston Branch. This is an in-person, full-time role (Monday–Friday; no weekends or evenings).

You will open and service consumer and business deposit accounts, handle complex transactions, and assist clients with digital banking and debit services. You will support deposit growth and client retention, provide escalation for service matters, and coach UB I staff on products and procedures.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of banking or financial services experience.
• Experience opening consumer and business deposit accounts.
• Ability to coach and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• Open and service consumer and business deposit accounts, including entity accounts and trusts.
• Process complex transactions such as wires, stop payments, and disputes.
• Support clients with digital banking, debit card and account maintenance.
• Refer lending, mortgage, and treasury management opportunities to grow deposits.
• Assist with branch audits, risk and compliance duties.
• Train and mentor UB I employees on products and procedures.
• Participate in community outreach and branch development activities.
