Job summary

Glatfelter Insurance Group seeks an Underwriting Supervisor for the Glatfelter Public Entities team, onsite in Berwyn, PA. You will support the Program Manager in underwriting profitability, supervise P&C underwriters, and guide staff while maintaining strong relationships with producers and clients.

Ideal candidates have a BA in a related field, relevant industry designations, and at least five years in commercial lines underwriting with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• BA degree or equivalent in insurance, business, or related field.
• Pursuit or attainment of AU, CPCU, ARM or similar insurance designations.
• Minimum five years of commercial lines underwriting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily underwriting of P&C book within authority and pricing guidelines.
• Supervise underwriters and assistants; provide coaching and training.
• Coordinate with Program Manager on guidelines and changes.
• Maintain relationships with producers and clients; represent program interests.
