Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develops specialized endorsement language for complex risk.
• Determines pricing for complex risks with minimal oversight.
• Makes recommendations on underwriting policy and pricing strategy.
• Analyzes profitability and presents reports to management.
• Markets products through agencies or brokers and conducts field visits.
• Develops agency/broker relationships to reach profitable outcomes.
• Keeps current on state issues and participates in industry groups.
• Mentors and guides less experienced underwriters.
• Utilizes CNA systems for day-to-day activities.
• Leads special underwriting projects and presentations.
