The role supports underwriting quality, consistency, and operational excellence across the organization, serving as a resource for trends, compliance, and decision support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience.
• Strong technical underwriting knowledge and analytical skills.
• E&S underwriting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of new business, renewals, and quotes to evaluate risk quality and file handling.
• Identify emerging trends and opportunities for improvement among agents and underwriters.
• Provide monthly reviews and quarterly territory reports with insights into agency results.
• Support audits, governance, and adherence to underwriting standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve portfolio quality, profitability, and customer outcomes.
• Develop training programs and objectives for underwriting staff and agents.
