Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Underwriting in the United States to lead financial analysis and underwriting initiatives for CVS Health. You will head a team of underwriters, drive PBM pricing strategies and work closely with Finance leadership to create value for clients and customers.

The role emphasizes coaching, team development, cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Account Management, and ongoing learning in PBM plan management within a healthcare context.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of financial analysis, pricing or underwriting experience.
• 5+ years of PBM/healthcare experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach, and evaluate Underwriters within the assigned team.
• Achieve and maintain high levels of employee engagement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Sales and Account Management.
• Develop relationships with Aetna Finance, Pricing and Sales teams and provide data supported consultation.
• Work with internal partners to facilitate and support development of underwriting models and analytic solutions.
• Acquire and maintain leading-edge knowledge of PBM plan management strategies and solutions.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines with delegation to team members.
• Participate in client meetings as needed and travel to clients as needed.
