Job summary

Liberty Mutual Mobility Solutions (LMMS) is seeking an experienced underwriting leader to manage a team of underwriters handling sharing economy and new mobility risks in the United States.

You will guide risk assessment, pricing, and broker relationships to deliver a profitable, quality book while aligning with Liberty's risk appetite and strategic goals. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or equivalent typically required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive underwriting experience.
• At least 2 years of proven underwriting management experience.
• CPCU or professional insurance designation preferred.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate high impact underwriting risks.
• Excellent communication with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Leadership: retain, acquire and develop senior underwriting talent; mentor underwriters.
• Risk Selection: develop strategy to evaluate risk quality for sharing economy risks.
• Agent/Broker Relationships: manage relationships with key agents and brokers.
• Portfolio Management: monitor profitability, trends and adjust strategy.
• Quality Audit and Account Review: ensure files meet regulatory and internal standards.
