Qualifications

• Degree in business, finance, risk management, or equivalent typically required.
• A minimum of 7 years expected, typically 10 years or more, of progressive underwriting experience.
• CPCU or professional insurance designation preferred.
• Proven analytical ability to evaluate and judge underwriting risks within scope of responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analyses to others in the organization for underwriting purposes.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Must demonstrate comprehension of complex underwriting issues and implement related processes.

Responsibilities

• Help to develop creative insights and apply sophisticated capabilities in evolving mobility risk exposures.
• Underwrite commercial auto, workers compensation and general liability and collaborate for cross-sell opportunities.
• Curate a profitable, diversified book of business through collaboration, marketing, and informed decisions.
• Underwriting emerging mobility risks requires curiosity and innovation as the market evolves.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills in a collaborative environment.
