Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or equivalent typically required.
• Minimum 10 years progressive underwriting experience.
• At least 2 years of underwriting management experience.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate high impact underwriting risks.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk assessment, coverage and pricing analysis.
• Mentor and coach underwriters; manage staff.
• Develop and maintain agent/broker relationships.
• Define UW team execution strategy and portfolio objectives.
• Ensure regulatory and documentation standards are met.
