Job summary

N2G Worldwide Insurance Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Underwriter to manage underwriting for GL, Auto, Umbrella, Workers Comp, and Property. The role involves broker relations, pricing, and oversight of associates to grow and retain a renewal portfolio.

Northeast/New England area travel is required. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years in P&C underwriting and strong knowledge of national and international insurance markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or industry experience.
• 5+ years underwriting experience in Property & Casualty.
• Knowledge of all lines underwritten.
• Experience with national and international market.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Profitably producing and underwriting insurance business within the level of authority.
• Negotiating pricing and conditions with brokers, in line with underwriting guidelines.
• Supervising Underwriting Associates in document prep and reviews.
• Liaising with brokers, clients, and carriers and providing superior service.
• Supporting regional leads with information and backup as needed.
• Acting as primary contact for medium/large clients.
• Participating in defining business strategies and budgets via underwriting trends.
• Ensuring underwriting data is accurate and entered promptly into the core system.
• Complying with policies and procedures relevant to data entry and underwriting.
