Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years progressively complex specialty underwriting experience.
• Professional insurance designation is preferred (AICPCU, RPLU)

Responsibilities

• Manages a profitable book by evaluating results and conducting portfolio reviews.
• Underwrites new and renewal business within authority.
• Analyzes documentation and risk factors to accept, decline, or modify risks.
• Develops relationships with producers to drive growth and profitability.
• Collaborates with claims, actuary, and risk control to service accounts.
• Mentors junior underwriters and stays current on industry trends.
