Integrated Specialty Coverages, LLC (ISC) is hiring a senior Workers’ Compensation Underwriter in the United States. Review applications, determine coverage levels and pricing based on risk, and ensure profitable distribution of risk. This role requires experience with various commercial lines and a focus on regulatory compliance.

The position includes bonus pay and comprehensive benefits. Starting pay aligns with the national range and varies by skills, training, and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or 10+ years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Workers' Compensation underwriting or related insurance experience.
• Experience underwriting risk for construction, hospitality, real estate, manufacturing.
• CPCU, CIC, CRIS, P&C licenses a plus.
• Strong customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to underwriting guidelines and pricing strategies to maintain profitability.
• Approve or decline insurance applications within authority limits.
• Review risk characteristics on applications, renewals, and changes.
• Ensure underwriting activities comply with regulations.
• Document underwriting files with risk analysis and pricing justification.
• Provide recommendations to clients to reduce risk exposure.
• Collaborate with producers to meet production goals.
• Support in development and mentoring of Underwriting team.
