HISCOX USA seeks a Senior Underwriter for the Innovation Economy to grow a profitable traded portfolio in Technology, Fintech, Health & Life Sciences, and Web3. This production role emphasizes individual accountability for growth, profitability, and portfolio performance.

The candidate will apply strong underwriting judgment, manage broker relationships, and share Life Sciences insights to support the broader team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience, including Life Sciences exposure.
• Strong technical underwriting skills and independent decision making.
• Experience across multiple Commercial P&C coverages and emerging risks.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of traded business and manage growth, profitability and retention.
• Underwrite new and renewal business across Tech, Fintech, Health & Life Sciences, and Web3.
• Develop broker relationships and drive submissions with productive partnerships.
• Provide guidance on Life Sciences risks and share expertise with the team.
