Corebridge Financial in El Segundo, CA invites a candidate to join the underwriting team within the Commercial Mortgage Group. The role covers multiple transaction types and requires reviewing third-party reports, preparing credit memos, and coordinating with brokers and principals.

You will conduct market research using CoStar, Reis, and Bloomberg, perform cash-flow analysis in Argus, and collaborate with loan originators, closers, legal, and portfolio management to validate underwriting

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• Robust analytical skills.
• Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and quantitative abilities.
• Interest in real estate and ability to perform market research.

Responsibilities

• Review and summarize third-party reports including appraisals, engineering, environmental, zoning, credit, and legal documents.
• Assist in the preparation of credit memos.
• Review leave and property-level documents.
• Conduct market research on economic and lending trends for real estate.
• Perform valuation and cash-flow analysis using Argus.
• Collaborate with underwriting, loan originators, closers, legal, and portfolio management.
• Understand internal systems and create quarterly CMBS accounting reports.
