The Senior Underwriter is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, CA, responsible for evaluating, structuring, and approving risk-based decisions for One Numerica’s clients. This role involves reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and business documentation to assess risk profiles and ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Senior Underwriter will collaborate with Accounting, Payroll, HR, and EOR teams to develop underwriting guidelines, recommend appropriate terms, and support client onboarding and ongoing risk management. Daily activities include analyzing data, preparing underwriting recommendations, documenting decisions, and communicating outcomes clearly to internal stakeholders and clients. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, contributing to process improvements, and helping shape underwriting best practices as the company scales.
