An established industry player is seeking a Senior Underwriter to join their remote team. This role involves underwriting mortgage insurance applications, ensuring compliance with industry guidelines, and performing comprehensive credit risk assessments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mortgage underwriting and a strong understanding of financial evaluations. The Senior Underwriter underwrites simple to more complex mortgage insurance application files for acceptable risk in accordance with company and industry/investor guidelines. The Senior Underwriter’s review and loan decision are based on a prudent and comprehensive credit risk assessment consistent with policy requirements. This position is remote however, the working hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (PST).
Base Salary Range: $79,700 - $101,600/year
