Job summary

DBE UTILITY SERVICES is seeking a full-time Project Manager based in Houston, TX with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in underground utilities. The role requires coordination of bidding, procurement, and project controls across multiple crews, with travel to Southeast job sites and occasional Florida trips.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in underground utilities required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management of projects from estimating to construction closeout including bidding, procurement, project controls, constructability reviews, material management, pre-construction, construction management, financial tracking and budgeting, progress meetings, final walk throughs, and final closeout.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs.
• Direct and coordinate activities of several disciplines on a project of moderate scope and/or a combination of smaller projects.
• Report on progress, cost and schedule metrics, procurement issues, safety or environmental concerns, design questions, and potential impacts.
