Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Survey or Survey Engineering; education/experience may substitute for degree.
• 3-7 years of professional experience; underground experience required.
• Experience in Cut and Fill, and Longhole Stoping preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong computer skills with mining software and databases (Deswik, Vulcan, Ventsim).
• Understanding of mine planning principles and practices required.
• Experience with drone survey is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience; driver’s license required.
• Strong problem solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Promote safety leadership across all areas of influence.
• Supervise survey processes to meet goals, cost and safety targets.
• Maintain an accurate survey control database network.
• Approve level design mark-ups and survey accuracy.
• Approve drill and blast hole design mark-ups and survey accuracy.
• Identify and manage mining void solids.
• Distribute drill/blast reconciliation reports for headings and stopes.
• Distribute monthly survey reports for production headings and surface piles.
• Oversee InSAR surface monitoring and ensure updated reporting.
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment; order items as needed.
• Mentor Underground Survey Technicians and support Mining Engineers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
