Eagle Mine is seeking a Senior Mine Engineer to lead support for reserve development, mine designs, planning, surveying, feasibility studies, and drill and blast. You will guide teams to safety, teamwork, and performance while aligning field execution with leadership intent.

The role requires 7+ years underground mining experience, a BS in Mining Engineering, and strong knowledge of ventilation and ground support. Collaboration with operations is essential for project delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of technical and/or operations experience in underground mining and at least 2 years in similar roles.
• Experience with cemented rockfill applications, underground rock mechanics and ground support design.
• Knowledge of mine ventilation systems and Ventilation-on-Demand controls.
• Strong analytical abilities and good communication skills.
• LEAN, Six SIGMA or other business improvement system experience would be an asset.

• Manage drilling and blasting engineering activities.
• Design and monitor mining geometry to maximize profitability and ensure permit compliance.
• Supervise consultants and contractors as required.
• Accurately gather and record production and engineering data.
• Provide technical support to operations and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
