Job summary

Eagle Mine LLC is seeking a Senior Mine Engineer to lead underground development and planning efforts. You will guide safety, manage budgets, and coordinate feasibility studies, designs, and reports for capital projects. You will supervise consultants and ensure compliance with permits and standards.

The role demands strong technical and leadership abilities, with experience in ventilation, rock mechanics, and ground support. Join a team focused on safe, high-quality underground operations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of underground mining technical/ops experience, with at least 2 years in similar roles.
• Significant background in underground safety systems.
• Underground production experience is desired.
• Experience with cemented rockfill, underground rock mechanics and ground support design.
• Knowledge of mine ventilation systems and Ventilation-on-Demand controls.
• Strong analytical abilities and communication skills.
• LEAN/SIX SIGMA or other improvement systems preferred.
• Project management skills would be an asset.
