Job summary

Traylor Bros., Inc. in California is seeking a Survey Manager to locate and determine portions of the earth’s surface by planning, conducting, and recording surveys for complex infrastructure projects in North America.

You will lead multiple survey crews, coordinate with engineers and superintendents, and ensure safety while using GPS, total stations, and digital leveling techniques; willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in survey/construction/engineering or 7-10 years supervision experience.
• Strong experience with survey field equipment and software.
• Ability to lead crews and coordinate with engineers and project staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement safe survey work plans for field personnel.
• Coordinate daily survey activities and multiple crews.
• Use GPS, total stations, and digital leveling techniques.
• Oversee data collection from office to field and review daily work.
• Coordinate with engineers, superintendents, and Survey Manager to complete projects.
• Lead and develop team, ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
