Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation in Round Mountain, Nevada, seeks an Underground Mine General Supervisor to lead safety‑focused, efficient mining operations. The ideal candidate has at least six years in underground mining, with three years in a supervisory role, and current MSHA Part 48 Underground training or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of underground mining experience.
• At least three years in supervisory/lead hand/shift boss/foreman role.
• Current MSHA Part 48 Underground training or ability to obtain it.
• Experience leading crews, coordinating development and production plans, and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground mining crews and coordinate daily development and production plans.
• Maintain compliance with MSHA, Nevada, environmental and Kinross standards.
• Plan and assign underground work including drilling, blasting, ground support, bolting, scaling, mucking, haulage and ventilation; rehab as needed.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Geology, Safety and Mine Rescue.
