Job summary

AMC Consultants, now part of AFRY, is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join its Underground teams in North America. You will deliver technical assignments under a Project Manager and help manage AMC’s risk exposure while promoting AMC’s services.

You will leverage your extensive mining experience to develop and maintain client relationships, market services, and deliver chargeable consultancy work across diverse projects for leading mining companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mining Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of specialized experience in mining.
• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical engineering assignments to specs and quality.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to support AMC’s portfolio.
• Manage risk exposure and support Project Manager guidance.
• Market AMC’s services through industry networks.
• Deliver chargeable consulting work.
• Ensure project documentation is current and accurate.
• Mentor and review colleagues’ work.
• Comply with risk, health, safety, and QA policies.
