Job summary

Core Natural Resources, Inc. seeks an experienced underground mining operator to support safe operation of mining equipment, maintenance, and general labor in the longwall area.

Candidates must have at least two years of longwall experience and hold Pennsylvania Experienced Miner and Machine Runners certificates. Ability to operate Joy 7LS, PMCR shields, and control boxes is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or State Certified GED.
• Minimum two years' proven experience as a Longwall Systems Operator.
• Experience with Joy 7LS, PMCR shields, and Line Power head gating.
• Ability to work in adverse geology and maintain longwall face alignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground mining equipment safely and proficiently.
• Support safe production of coal and assist in mining operations.
• Communicate effectively with mine management and co-workers.
• Comply with MSHA and company safety policies.
