Job summary

Sandvik Mining seeks a Product Support Specialist (Master) for Underground Load & Haul, serving as the senior technical SME for underground loading and hauling equipment, including BEVs and automation systems. You will resolve complex issues, guide fleet optimization, and support new product introductions, training, and customer readiness.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering value through reliability improvements and performance enhancements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent 4 years experience.
• 8+ years experience with Load & Haul equipment.
• Expertise in diesel technologies and underground loaders/haul trucks.
• Ability to travel within the Sales Area.
• Strong troubleshooting and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the highest-level technical support resource for underground Load & Haul equipment.
• Analyze equipment failures, component life trends, machine health data, and maintenance practices.
• Provide application expertise during equipment sales campaigns and project evaluations.
• Develop and deliver technical training programs for underground Load & Haul equipment.
• Lead technical readiness activities for new equipment introductions, upgrades, and product launches.
• Lead technical review meetings focused on reliability, performance, and fleet optimization.
• Maintain detailed technical reports, recommendations, and service documentation.
