Job summary

Holt CAT in Waco, Texas seeks an experienced Undercarriage Field Technician to diagnose and repair heavy equipment undercarriage at customer sites. A CDL Class B and valid medical DOT card are required, with travel across central Texas.

The role includes demonstrating leadership and mentoring other technicians, while maintaining equipment and safety procedures. Must be able to perform welded and non-welded repairs, operate torches and hand/power tools, and complete all paperwork timely.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 8 years of heavy construction equipment repair experience.
• Must own a full set of specialized tools to perform the job.
• CDL Class B and a safe driving record; able to pass DOT physical and obtain medical card.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair undercarriage components on heavy equipment in customer sites.
• Lead and mentor other Undercarriage Technicians on large projects.
• Prepare service reports and maintain tools and work areas.
