Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Sonographer with OB/GYN and abdominal imaging expertise for on-site work at Swedish Ballard. The role includes performing a variety of sonographic examinations and assisting radiologists during invasive procedures, with additional certifications required for advanced status.

A strong clinical judgment and ARDMS eligibility are essential. We offer a collaborative team environment within a large, not-for-profit health system.

Qualifications

• Completed ultrasound training program and eligible to sit ARDMS registry
• National Registered Technologist - Sonography or ARDMS certification obtained
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience

Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN, abdominal and small parts ultrasound examinations
• Assist radiologist during invasive procedures
• Perform abdominal Doppler studies including liver and transplants; NT and neonatal cranial exams
• Make clinical judgments based on referrals, records, patient interview and assessments
