RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Senior Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations and contribute to patient care excellence. The role emphasizes advanced imaging, patient comfort, and adherence to protocols in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography required.
• ARDMS certification required.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.
• Advanced ultrasound knowledge and ability to serve as a departmental resource preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations per protocols and physician orders.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and stocking between examinations.
• Explain procedures to patients and assist them onto the exam table while ensuring comfort.
• Capture, document, and record diagnostic images for medical records and interpretation.
• Mentor staff, support workflow, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.
