Job description

Join to apply for the Senior Ultrasound Technologist role at Providence.

Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound scans on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Performs procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. For the Breast Center: Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound scans on breast tissue. Performs procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree, two-year technical program, or equivalent education/experience.
  • OR a combination of education and directly related work experience.
  • Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program for Imaging Department.
  • National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • For Breast Center: Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
  • ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB (for Imaging Department) upon hire.
  • Prior ultrasound experience.
