Qualifications

• Extensive experience with ultrasound systems, acoustics, imaging systems, and wave propagation
• Proficient in Python or MATLAB
• Ability to diagnose complex system-level performance issues

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize the end-to-end ultrasound imaging signal path
• Diagnose noise artifacts, signal degradation, and image quality issues
• Develop and test image and signal processing techniques
• Prototype algorithms using MATLAB or Python
• Improve imaging performance across B-mode and other imaging modes
• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, signal processing, and mechanical teams
• Design and execute experiments to validate system performance
• Analyze results and drive continuous system improvements
