• Improve imaging performance across B-mode and other imaging modes
• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, signal processing, and mechanical teams
• Design and execute experiments to validate system performance
• Analyze results and drive continuous system improvements

Compensation: $170,000–$205,000 + bonus eligibility and stock-based compensation

An exciting new medical technology platform is developing a next-generation ultrasound system combining advanced electronics, signal processing, and system-level engineering to deliver improved imaging and therapy solutions for prostate care.

We are seeking a Senior Ultrasound Systems Engineer to own system-level imaging performance and image quality across the full ultrasound signal chain—from probe through processing and final image output.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze and optimize the end-to-end ultrasound imaging signal path
• Diagnose noise artifacts, signal degradation, and image quality issues
• Develop and test image and signal processing techniques
• Prototype algorithms using MATLAB or Python
• Improve imaging performance across B-mode and other imaging modes

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Master’s + 4+ years or PhD + 2+ years in a relevant field
• Strong experience with ultrasound systems, acoustics, imaging systems, and wave propagation
• Experience diagnosing complex system-level performance issues
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB

Preferred:

• Beamforming and image reconstruction experience
• Real-time signal or image processing experience
• Familiarity with FDA or IEC standards
• Startup or early-stage company experience
