Job summary
Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our Information Technology team supporting a large Federal agency. The ideal candidate will lead full-scale UX efforts, conduct user research, create wireframes and site maps, and collaborate with engineers to deliver accessible, responsive web and mobile applications.
A Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of design experience, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust are required; proficiency with Adobe XD, InDesign,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
- 10+ years combined professional design experience (UCD, UI/UX design).
- Strong online portfolio showing research-driven decisions for responsive web/mobile.
- Experience with 508 and USWDS compliance.
- Mentoring/leading junior designers.
- Advanced coding: HTML, CSS, JS.
- Proficiency in Adobe XD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-scale UX design efforts including research and blueprinting.
- Manage planning, design, and implementation across multiple sites for federal clients.
- Lead all phases of user research to inform design for usable web pages/apps.
- Collaborate with federal engineers and clients to implement innovative solutions.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to communicate design ideas.
- Create scalable design resources for project collaboration.
