Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead UI and backend validation for a government-critical modernization. You will craft test plans, perform functional/regression tests, and ensure WCAG/Section 508 compliance, security controls, and reliable data flows across Oracle 19c, Solr, and SAP BI interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience with UI web applications testing and validation.
• Knowledge of Section 508/WCAG accessibility and federal cybersecurity requirements.
• Ability to review backend logs and perform SQL validation for data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for system upgrades and features.
• Perform functional and regression testing of Java-based web applications.
• Conduct UI validation and cross-browser testing; verify accessibility compliance.
• Execute manual testing for complex scenarios and review backend logs.
• Perform API testing for backend services (Solr, RESTful).
• Run database integrity checks with SQL queries and ensure data flows.
• Support system buildout including installation, configuration, and integration.
• Coordinate defect tracking and issue resolution with developers and security teams.
• Collaborate with QA, BA, and security teams in a regulated environment.
