Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years relevant industry experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master’s; or PhD with 3 years, or equivalent experience
• Experience developing and supporting products with interactive UI software, display pipelines, or video/image processing systems
• Mastery of C/C++ programming
• Experience in all phases of product development lifecycle
• Experience designing core software infrastructure with modularity and reusability
• Proven ability to write well-structured, testable code and enable unit testing
• Experience in large software codebases and Linux development
• Comfortable with hardware/software stack levels (device drivers, registers)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality user experience

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional team in a user-centered design process
• Translate high-level requirements into software architecture and algorithm designs
• Design and develop UI software architecture with modularity, reusability, scalability across multiple products
• Lead refactoring efforts to improve code reuse and enable shared components
• Support performance profiling and optimization of interactive video/display subsystem
• Participate in software/hardware failure mode analysis and hazard mitigation
