Job summary

You will work with designers, engineers and clinicians to deliver safe, learnable and confidence-inspiring embedded software and GUIs. You will bring 10+ years in embedded software, 3+ years managing UI engineers, and experience in regulated

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting, mentoring, and managing teams of engineers.
• Experience in all software development lifecycle phases.
• Knowledge of design input/output, traceability and risk analysis.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong people management abilities.
• Ability to build relationships across organizations.
• Experience with SVN or Git.
• Experience with JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UI software team and its lifecycle from requirements to releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Interaction Design, Human Factors, Clinical, Controls).
• Mentor team members and facilitate coaching across the team.
• Promote best practices like code reviews, CI, and design patterns.
• Maintain software hazard analyses and traceability to tests.
