Job summary
Schonfeld is seeking a Senior UI Engineer to join our team and help shape the firm’s internal UI platform, delivering high‑impact frontend work across 100+ applications. You’ll serve as a platform thinker, driving architecture, shared components and quality across cross‑functional teams.
You’ll collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable UI solutions, mentor engineers, and integrate AI capabilities to accelerate development lifecycles while
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UI engineering experience with front-end architecture leadership
- Advanced React/TypeScript expertise and large-scale component systems
- Strong UI/UX collaboration and translating requirements into designs
- Experience with product-management collaboration across lifecycle
- Experience incorporating AI into development workflows
- Experience with Redux/Zustand/RxJS
- Hands-on data grid and charting tools with real-time data
- Unit tests and E2E tests with RTL/Mocha/Jest/Cypress/Playwright
- Experience leading complex UI app lifecycles from architecture to deployment
- Strong advocate for engineering excellence and best practices
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the UI platform and build on top of it
- Drive architecture improvements and shared components across teams
- Mentor junior engineers and improve development lifecycles
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into UI solutions
