Job summary

LivaNova is seeking a highly experienced UI Designer for its implantable medical device platform and connected-care ecosystem. You will translate clinical workflows into pixel-perfect interfaces, prototypes, and validated experiences across multiple products while maintaining a consistent design language.

The role requires 8+ years in UI design, strong collaboration skills, and proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Qualifications

8+ years as a Product UI Designer in medical devices or equivalent field.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Self-starter who drives outcomes, negotiates trade-offs, and works independently.
Team player with ability to align stakeholders and move projects forward.
Experience applying mobile/web UI standards (Android Material, Apple HIG).
Proficient with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud; design systems experience.

Responsibilities

Own evolution of LivaNova’s multi-brand Design System and components.
Resolve cross-functional UI issues across products and teams.
Define UI operations, processes, and governance for scalable delivery.
Collaborate with managers, engineering, regulatory, and marketing on safety and usability.
Create reusable components and documentation for portfolio consistency.
Define information architecture and data flows for device apps.
Produce high-fidelity UI designs and production-ready specs.
Develop interactive prototypes for concept validation and reviews.
