Job summary

LivaNova in Houston seeks a seasoned UI Designer to shape the user experience for implantable medical device platforms. You will translate clinical workflows into elegant interfaces, deliver high‑fidelity designs, prototypes, and production‑ready specs across multiple products.

You will lead the evolution of the design system, collaborate with product, engineering, and regulatory teams, and drive usability and safety standards.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience as a Product UI Designer with at least 3 recent years in the medical device industry.
Fluent with modern design tools and industry standards.
Experience creating, maintaining, and scaling component libraries for multi‑product ecosystems.

Responsibilities

Define information architecture and navigation for device and companion apps.
Produce high‑fidelity UI designs and pixel‑perfect screens.
Build interactive prototypes for concept validation and engineering alignment.
Deliver production‑ready specs including tokens, assets, and rules.
Maintain and evolve the design system for portfolio consistency.
