Job summary

Netflix is seeking a Senior UI Artist/Designer to lead the visual direction of UI, component design, and in-engine implementation for a cross-platform MMO. A strong portfolio in UI design and 2D components is essential.

You will collaborate with developers, optimize the UI pipeline, and integrate components into UMG with Blueprint, while maintaining clear, proactive communication with teammates.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrates strong UI design skills and 2D component design.
• Experience designing user experience and user insights for games.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical teams.
• Deep understanding of how design translates to code and impact on development timelines.
• Ability to raise a wide range of complex technical issues to programmers.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality UI assets that complement the look of the game's 3D assets.
• Follow technical guidelines and collaborate with developers to improve the quality and usability of the user interface.
• Manage and optimize the pipeline to create high-quality, customized UI assets.
• Integrate UI components into UMG widgets and use Blueprint to build and manage customized components.
• Regularly communicate with team members about work and status (Slack, Google Meet, essential email).
