Amentum in Colorado Springs is seeking a Maintenance Test Pilot to conduct test flights of UH-60A/L/M after maintenance or modifications, measure performance and handling, and determine airworthiness before flight release.

The role requires extensive flight time, MTPC/AMOC-style training, FAA Class II medical, an instrument rating, and the ability to file flight plans and maintain accurate records. You will work with pilots and specialists on a range of test and safety activities.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of aviation maintenance experience required
• Minimum of 1,000 hours of Pilot in Command time
• FAA Class II medical certificate and instrument rating
• Must meet AR 95-20/AFR55-22 related requirements and hold or be eligible for security clearance

Responsabilités

• Perform test flights and demonstrate aircraft proficiency upon completion of maintenance or modifications
• Determine airworthiness prior to release for flight in accordance with publications and procedures
• File flight plans and compute weight and balance for the aircraft
• Coordinate with military pilots and technicians and troubleshoot during ground and flight operations
• Perform ferry flights as assigned and support safety and program audits where required
