Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Test Pilot to perform test flights on UH-72 aircraft after maintenance or modifications, ensuring airworthiness prior to flight and compliance with established procedures. You will file flight plans, compute weight and balance, and liaise with pilots and technicians to address deficiencies.

Qualified candidates hold MTPC/AMOC lineage, FAA Class II medical, instrument-rated FAA certificates, and substantial aviation maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Ten years aviation maintenance experience
• FAA Class II flight physical current
• Instrument rating on FAA Commercial Certificates
• Proficient in military flight procedures and MTPC/AMOC requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance test flights to verify airworthiness after maintenance or modifications
• Determine airworthiness in accordance with publications and procedures
• Prepare and file flight plans and weight/balance calculations
• Coordinate with pilots and technicians during testing
• Maintain and audit maintenance forms and records
• Comply with safety and QA standards (AS9110) and internal audit support
