RedCat Aerial is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, prototype, test, and integrate mechanical systems into flight hardware and ground control systems. The ideal candidate has a background in drone/mechanical design for high-volume production and will contribute to qualification testing and reliability analyses.

You will lead development of test fixtures, perform data-driven analyses, and collaborate with suppliers to validate components and methods.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in reliability, product validation, or mechanical test engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing and building custom test setups and data acquisition systems.
• Experience developing qualification test plans for complex electromechanical systems.
• Ability to apply statistical analysis in product testing and reliability evaluation.

Responsabilidades

• Create custom test fixtures, automation, and data acquisition systems.
• Apply DOE and statistical techniques to support engineering decisions.
• Coordinate with supplier quality and purchasing for component qualification and test method validation.
• Contribute to risk management deliverables and propose test strategies for top failure modes.
• Support root cause investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
