AiQualTest LLC is seeking a Senior Test Analyst for BenefitConnect in West Sacramento, CA. The role partners with IT and business to develop test cases, owns test planning, scheduling, end-to-end and UAT, and manages defects with robust metrics.

The candidate will guide large groups of UAT testers, ensure traceability using ALM/Jama or equivalent, and support pension software testing in a hybrid on-site environment 2–3 days weekly at CalSTRS HQ.

Qualifications

• 7+ years within last 10 as Test Analyst on large org software/systems automating complex business processes.
• Business analysis: scope assessment, BA planning, elicitation, docs of business/user/system requirements.
• Cross-functional work with SMEs, architects, developers, testers.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, document results; regression testing for maintenance releases.
• 7+ years within last 10 producing BA/testing deliverables (BRD/FRD, test strategy/plan/cases, traceability matrices, transition plans).
• 3+ years Test ALM tools (HP ALM, Rational Requisite Pro, Jama, or equivalent) with full traceability.
• Hybrid on-site 2–3 days/week West Sacramento CalSTRS HQ (hard gate).
• US work authorization; available ~Jan 2027; consent to CMAS offer packaging.
• Test Analyst experience at a State or Federal agency.
• Pension / retirement software implementation testing.
• Leading large groups of UAT testers; multi-effort / ambiguous environments.
• System test, role-based security, performance perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT and business on test case development; own and support test planning, scheduling, end-to-end and UAT.
• Defect management and metrics; lead or guide large groups of UAT testers.
• Use ALM/Jama/equivalent for full requirements-to-test-to-defect traceability.
• Hybrid on-site 2–3 days/week West Sacramento CalSTRS HQ.
