Job summary

Griffon Aerospace in Madison, AL, seeks a Program Manager for the Valiant UAS portfolio. You will own budget, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction, leading cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and support staff on mission-critical programs.

This hands-on role requires DoD program experience, the ability to manage multiple milestones, and strong risk management. You will interact with government offices and prime contractors, travel up to 30%, and drive delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or related field.
• 7+ years in DoD defense aerospace program management.
• Experience managing $5M–$50M+ DoD development/production programs.
• Hands-on experience with aircraft or UAS systems.
• Proficient in EVM, IMS, risk mgmt, CDR/PDR processes.
• Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to customer sites and events.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle for Valiant UAS portfolio across contracts.
• Develop and manage integrated master schedules with milestones.
• Drive cost, schedule, and tech performance; manage risk.
• Lead program reviews, CDRs, PDRs, and customer milestones.
• Interface with government offices, prime contractors, end users.
• Mentor staff and enforce ownership culture.
